Naos from the ancient Greek ναός, “temple, sanctuary”, designates in the field of architecture,
the central part of a religious building, generally receiving the effigy of a divinity.
Thus it corresponds to the most important part of a temple from ancient Greece, Egypt, the Debir of the temple of Jerusalem, or even the “Holy of Holies” of the Orthodox churches
